Human Resources Director Job Description

The Dorm LCSW PLLC is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of human resources and people development. As a senior leader in our organization, you will be responsible for leading strategic employee recruitment and planning, policy development and implementation, while helping enhance the organization's culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategy with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the talent acquisition and onboarding strategy to ensure that we attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans focused on staff development to provide a path of growth for members and team building to enhance workplace culture.
  • Partner on the organization's DEIB strategy to create a more diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Administer and oversee human resources programs, including compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, and recognition.
  • Monitor and ensure the organization is compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of HR experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • SHRM member.
  • Expert knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and performance management.
  • Excellent writing and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and open-minded.
  • Highly organized, process-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and passionate in helping others.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
