Job Title: Executive Account Manager - Technical Risk

Crum & Forster is seeking an experienced Executive Account Manager to join our Property Lines Underwriting division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for actively managing a renewal book of shared and layered Technical Risk property accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate renewal terms and manage policy changes for a portfolio of manufacturing and DIC Earthquake property accounts.
  • Service customer needs in a timely manner, adhering to Company guidelines.
  • Demonstrate technical underwriting skills for risk selection, exposure evaluation, and pricing tools, operating within C&F guidelines to achieve an underwriting profit.
  • Prepare accounts for modeling using RMS tools and prepare referrals per Company guidelines.
  • Prepare quotes, binders, and policies per Company guidelines and achieve renewal and loss ratio goals as assigned.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competition, and products.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience underwriting mono-line property accounts.
  • Manuscript, Company, and ISO property form experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven team player with a drive to succeed.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • College degree (B.S. or B.A.).
