The OpportunityWe are seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to support our General Surgery team. This role is responsible for administrative support, ensuring teams deliver a high-quality experience that exceeds patients' expectations.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years' experience in healthcare or customer service, preferably in a medical office setting. Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.
Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Check-in and check-out patients, collecting co-payments and assisting with pre-visit paperwork
- Field incoming telephone calls and route appropriately
- Perform referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties
- Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers
