Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at the University of California, Riverside. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing procurement and travel procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Associated Director of Business & Administrative Operations, including screening, directing, and responding to inquiries and questions.
  • Manage procurement and travel procedures, ensuring compliance with University, Organizational, and Departmental rules and regulations.
  • Process travel, purchasing, and accounts payable, as well as process purchase and work orders, payment to vendors, reimbursements to employees, and travel pre-trip arrangements and/or advances.
  • Assist with department accounting functions, including fiscal closing.

Requirements:

  • Current work authorization is required.
  • Ability to work in a high-pace, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Compensation: The full salary range for this position is $31.72 - $50.70 per hour, with an expected pay scale of $31.72 - $40.11 per hour.

Additional Information: As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
