Position Overview

The Spa Guest Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the Spa and Fitness Center, while fostering a serene and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests as they arrive at the Spa, providing an introduction to the facilities and membership options available.
  • Conduct informative tours of the Spa and Fitness Center, highlighting key features and services.
  • Handle incoming phone inquiries with professionalism, assisting guests in selecting appropriate services tailored to their needs and accurately scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of spa offerings and resort amenities, serving as a knowledgeable representative of the resort.
  • Process guest registrations for day passes and membership programs with precision.
  • Follow up on product recommendations made by service providers, assisting guests in making informed retail purchases.
  • Adhere to daily operational checklists and promptly report any maintenance or equipment issues to management.
  • Uphold a polished and professional appearance, including wearing designated attire and name tags.
  • Document any incidents or injuries and report them to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the men's and women's spa areas and fitness center, keeping them well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Enhance guest relations by delivering prompt, courteous service and effectively addressing any complaints.

Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality sector, flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet the operational needs of the hotel.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preferred one year of experience in customer service.
  • Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Grooming: Employees must maintain a neat and professional appearance as per departmental guidelines.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with web-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
  • Ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly and constructive manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Adaptability in communication style to effectively interact with diverse audiences.
