Location Description

Our resort is situated in a picturesque mountain setting, surrounded by lush forests and offering guests access to a stunning reservoir. This location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, providing a range of activities throughout the year, including hiking, biking, fishing, and winter sports. The resort features dining options, wellness facilities, and extensive event spaces.

Position Overview

Primary Responsibilities

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest accommodations to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining an organized and well-stocked cleaning cart.
  • Inspecting linens and returning any that do not meet standards.
  • Utilizing cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently.
  • Changing and remaking beds according to established procedures.
  • Ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitation of all room areas, including bathrooms and furnishings.
  • Realigning furniture to its original arrangement.
  • Restocking amenities and extra bedding as needed.
  • Completing assignment sheets and reporting room status.
  • Identifying and reporting safety hazards and maintenance issues.
  • Adhering to lost and found protocols.
  • Practicing safety standards and emergency procedures.
  • Caring for assigned equipment and returning it at the end of each shift.
  • Maintaining punctuality and accurate time records.
  • Remaining attentive and courteous to guests and colleagues.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent walking and lifting, with the ability to handle weights up to 70 lbs. It involves constant standing, bending, and reaching, along with occasional sitting.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred six months of experience in housekeeping within a hospitality environment.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to follow instructions and work independently.
Compensation

The compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
