Location Insights

Our resort is situated in a picturesque mountain setting, surrounded by lush forests and offering guests exclusive access to a beautiful reservoir. This location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, providing a range of activities year-round, including hiking, biking, fishing, and winter sports. The resort features a restaurant, spa, outdoor pool, and extensive meeting space.

Position Summary

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness standards in assigned guest accommodations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service within specified timeframes. Responsibilities include reporting maintenance issues and guest requests to the appropriate personnel while upholding confidentiality and security in all guest areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked work cart with secured supplies.
  • Inspect linens prior to placement in rooms and return any substandard items to housekeeping.
  • Utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities effectively.
  • Change soiled linens and remake beds according to property standards.
  • Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of rooms, including bathrooms and furnishings, using approved cleaning agents.
  • Realign furniture to its original layout.
  • Restock clothing hangers, desk items, and extra bedding as needed.
  • Complete assignment sheets and document room status accurately.
  • Maintain awareness of safety hazards and report them promptly.
  • Adhere to lost and found procedures diligently.
  • Practice safety standards consistently, including fire and emergency protocols.
  • Care for assigned equipment responsibly and return items to the security office at the end of each shift.
  • Report damages and maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Exhibit a courteous and helpful demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent walking, lifting up to 70 lbs, and the ability to stand for extended periods. It involves bending, reaching, and manual dexterity, along with occasional sitting and color recognition tasks.

Environmental Factors

Work may occur indoors and outdoors, often alone or closely with others, and may involve climbing ladders and using cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Capability to follow instructions and read room numbers and basic directives.
Compensation

The compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
