Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Account Executive to enhance our sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate a strategic business plan for your assigned territory, focusing on opportunity development and competitive positioning.
  • Oversee sales activities within your territory to create a significant impact in the fire/life-safety sector, including educational initiatives and proposal generation.
  • Build and maintain a network to monitor market trends and develop effective counter strategies.
  • Drive sales efforts for both existing clients and new prospects.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting on sales initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with a diverse range of clients, from end users to general contractors.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of customer security planning needs and identify optimal product solutions.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate configuration and pricing of products and services to meet client requirements.
  • Stay informed about product applications, technical services, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Engage in customer events, trade shows, and training seminars to foster business relationships.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in fire/life-safety systems.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Strong presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation and closing.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
