Job Title: Subject Matter Expert of Acquisitions

Hive Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert of Acquisitions to support the client's procurement needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal acquisition regulations and policies, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the client's procurement team, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the client's needs, while minimizing risk and maximizing value.
  • Manage and coordinate the procurement process, from requirement development to contract award and post-award management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and develop solutions to complex procurement challenges.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in federal acquisition, with a strong background in procurement regulations and policies.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience with federal acquisition regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation (HSAR).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Desired Skills:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with contracting writing systems, such as PRISM.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
