Position Summary:

The Red Gate Group is in search of an Acquisition Process Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). In this pivotal role, you will utilize your extensive knowledge in Contracts and Program Management to aid the Program Execution Office (PEO) in developing a robust acquisition process that meets CIO enterprise IT standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide stakeholders through the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Support governance boards to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Improve the quality of IT acquisition packages to mitigate risks and ensure timely execution.
  • Drive process enhancements and contribute to strategic acquisition initiatives aligned with the DIA's objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a CI Poly.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in providing on-site acquisition and governance support.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, teams, and leadership.
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC), IC Information Technology Environment (ITE), and Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition frameworks.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD FAR Supplements (DFARs), and/or DoD Acquisition 5000 Series and ICD 801.
Preferred Skills:
  • DAWIA Level I, II, and/or III certification in Contracts or Program Management.
  • Prior experience as a Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist (1102 series).
  • Experience as a Government Program Manager.
  • Master's degree with advanced training in DoD/IC Acquisition.
