Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to enhance our Data and Analytics division within the fintech sector of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. This role will primarily focus on our software offerings related to Eagle Accounting, Performance, and Data Management, as well as our innovative Data Vault solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients across North America, highlighting the features and advantages of our Eagle Accounting, Performance, and Data Management solutions, along with the Data Vault public cloud offering.
  • Manage and respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) documentation.
  • Lead the design and implementation of proof of concept (PoC) projects to showcase the practicality and effectiveness of our software solutions in resolving client challenges. This includes activities such as data loading, identifying business requirements, and presenting tailored solutions to potential customers.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, or a related role within the software or financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with financial software solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
  • Proficient in SQL; knowledge of Python is an advantage.
  • Strong team collaboration skills are essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business management or a related field is required.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; prior experience in public speaking or presentations is preferred.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field is required.
