Position: Accounting Outsourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, direct, and coordinate with clients and financial management outsourcing teams to ensure timely and precise monthly finance and accounting services.
  • Provide specialized knowledge regarding US GAAP standards.
  • Engage in the development and upkeep of accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency and financial management for clients across diverse industries.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of periodic client-specific and compiled financial statements along with supporting documentation.
  • Act as a liaison for clients with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Build proactive relationships with clients and cross-functional teams to guarantee the timely and accurate collection of information necessary for financial reporting.
  • Assist in business development initiatives by participating in prospect meetings, calculating pricing, and drafting engagement letters.
  • Guide and facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, including training for clients and staff, resource allocation, and assignment of client work.
  • Support the career and skills development of staff consultants and senior consultants by actively engaging with them as their Performance Coach.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in all areas of accounting and finance, including GL, AP, AR, PR, budgeting/forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated experience in balance sheet reconciliation, managing the complete month-end close process, and preparing financial statements.
  • Strong analytical and accounting capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in understanding and analyzing complex operating agreements.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently; enjoys working independently with clear deadlines and deliverables.
  • Proficient in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Intacct; adaptable to switching between platforms.
  • Competent in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in establishing and implementing systems and procedures is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA certification.
  • Accounting experience in the real estate sector is preferred.
  • Experience in audit preparation is preferred.
