Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including forecasting, accounting, strategic planning, financial modeling, cost accounting, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including 10K and 10Q reports.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury accounts.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate financial risks and develop effective risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to develop and implement company-wide financial strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, SEC reporting, and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Experience with cost accounting and risk management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.
