Job Title:
Accounting Supervisor

Location:
Onsite position.

Employment Type:
Full-time

Compensation:
$120,000-$135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Summary:

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be instrumental in managing the daily functions of our accounting division, ensuring that all financial transactions and reporting are conducted accurately and promptly.

Your role will involve supervising and mentoring our accounting personnel, reviewing their outputs, assisting with audits, and upholding internal controls and policies. This is an opportunity to lead a committed team and significantly influence our financial achievements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, assess, verify, and report financial data to document the organization's financial health and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Advise on forecasting needs, prepare annual budgets, and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Oversee a team of junior accountants, providing support and mentorship.
  • Assist in managing cash flows and reviewing treasury summaries, while preparing monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Draft budgets, KPI reports, forecasts, and high-level financial summaries.
  • Prepare general ledger entries for various accounting areas and support the month-end closing process.
  • Conduct account reconciliations across different financial categories.
  • Review subsidiary ledgers and other financial records for accuracy.
  • Support operational departments with commission calculations and other financial tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance within the finance function and promote collaboration across departments.
  • Assist with finance-related ad-hoc projects and the development of internal controls.
  • Act as a liaison between accounting and external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in audit and 1-2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability to manage growth.
  • Team-oriented with a forward-thinking mindset.
  • In-depth understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning.
  • Detail-oriented with a flexible approach.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Big4 or Mid-Tier firms is highly regarded.
  • MBA in accounting or finance is advantageous.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
