Main responsibilities include conducting electromagnetic simulations and developing next-generation solvers.
The candidate must be capable of collaborating within a small team environment and engaging with external contractors and consultants.
Deliver effective presentations and written evaluations to internal stakeholders to demonstrate product capabilities.
Engage with customers to comprehend their requirements.
Provide feedback on product performance and identify market gaps to the marketing and engineering teams.
This candidate must closely collaborate with other internal development initiatives within KLA.
Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) in physical sciences or engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Strong foundation in applied mathematics and electromagnetics.
Proficient in numerical simulations, particularly in computational electromagnetics.
Strong programming skills, especially in performance profiling, memory optimization, and parallel computing.
Proficient in C++ and Python, particularly in writing production-quality, object-oriented code.
Experience in semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology) is advantageous.
Willingness to travel globally to support projects at customer sites is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic)
