As a Senior Applied Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

Candidate Profile:
You are an ideal candidate for the Senior Applied Scientist position if you possess:
- A PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in developing NLP/IR/ML systems, from concept to deployment.
- Strong software engineering skills for prototyping.
- Professional experience as a technical leader, adept at translating complex business challenges into projects with clear scopes, while coordinating and guiding the efforts of others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 years of practical experience in building IR, ML, or NLP systems in either academia or industry.
- Proven ability to convert cutting-edge research into functional prototypes and experience in experimenting with novel IR or NLP models to address real-world challenges.
- Experience in fast-paced, agile environments managing uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Exceptional communication skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities, collaborating effectively with Product and Business Stakeholders.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in delivering minimum viable products in large enterprise settings.
- Publications in esteemed venues such as ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGIR, KDD, or similar.
