About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Leader to join our team at Hannaford Supermarkets. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading front-end operations, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a neat and well-groomed personal appearance at all times.
  • Assign tasks to front-end and service desk associates during idle periods.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other functions as assigned by supervision.
  • Support and comply with all company safety standards.
Requirements
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
Physical Requirements
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm motions while standing/walking the majority of the shift.
  • Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 pounds continuously.
  • Push or pull up to 75 pounds on occasion.
Preferred Requirements
  • Promote customer goodwill by providing high standards in customer service.
  • Maintain effective work schedules for front-end and service desk associates.
  • Handle cash pickups and change orders as requested.
