Overview of the Sales Executive Role at Herc Rentals

The Sales Executive at Herc Rentals is essential in driving revenue growth within a specified region. By cultivating robust business relationships and providing tailored solutions, you will address climate and remediation challenges effectively. As a knowledgeable resource, you will advise both internal and external clients on the utilization of portable generators, HVAC systems, dehumidifiers, industrial fans, and air purification devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your designated territory daily to secure new clients and exceed rental revenue objectives through site visits.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve established targets.
  • Promote cross-selling initiatives in partnership with existing sales teams.
  • Engage directly in sales for critical market segments and formulate sales strategies.
  • Identify customer requirements and collaborate with operations to fulfill them.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Enhance product and service offerings to expand the customer base.
  • Deliver informative presentations to key stakeholders and educate them on equipment usage.
  • Oversee the launch and maintenance of new services for clients.
  • Document sales activities utilizing CRM and other relevant tools.
  • Actively support the safety culture at Herc Rentals, prioritizing the well-being of all team members and clients.
  • Assist fellow team members as needed.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Professional Experience

Experience in the equipment rental sector and/or within the pump, power, and climate control industries is highly regarded. Proficiency in data entry, strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, active listening, and reliability are crucial.

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary of $40,000, complemented by a commission structure and a company vehicle.
