Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Part Time Days SLB

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Saint Luke's Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families during this critical time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the healthcare team.
- Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on prenatal, labor, and postpartum care.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
- AHA NRP certification within 60 days of hire.
- Fetal Monitoring certification.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification.
- PALS certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of experience in acute care, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
