Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Part Time Days SLB

As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at Saint Luke's Hospital, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population. Under the supervision of a licensed physician, you will assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal health outcomes, including education and support for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Fetal Monitoring certification.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
