Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Part Time Days

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at North Central Baptist Hospitals. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on prenatal and postpartal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification.
- AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
- AHA NRP certification within 60 days of hire.
- Fetal Monitoring - L&D and Antepartum certification within 30 days of hire.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. – Level 2 Nursery certification within 6 months of hire.
- AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of experience in acute care, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
