Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team on a part-time basis. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families during this critical time.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication administration and treatment.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on various aspects of care, including pain management and postpartum care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • AHA ACLS and AHA NRP certifications within 60 days of hire.
  • Fetal Monitoring - L&D and Antepartum: Novice RNs must complete GNOSIS introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring within 30 days of hire and AWHONN Intermediate Heart Monitoring within 8 months of L&D Orientation.
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification for experienced L&D RNs.
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. – Level 2 Nursery: Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire.
