Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Part Time Days SLB

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Saint Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including prenatal, labor, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and monitor patient vital signs as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- AHA ACLS and AHA NRP certifications within 60 days of hire.
- Fetal Monitoring certification.
- L&D and Antepartum: Novice RNs must complete GNOSIS introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring within 30 days of hire and AWHONN Intermediate Heart Monitoring within 8 months of L&D Orientation. Experienced L&D RNs must have AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring on hire or within the first 90 days of hire.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification.
- Level 2 Nursery: Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of acute care experience.
