About the Opportunity

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering sales results by building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, analyzing market trends, and effectively communicating the value of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and medical office staff.
  • Provide product demonstrations, detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to promote products and provide patient education.
  • Regularly review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
  • Maintain a high level of call activity with healthcare providers, focusing on top target customers.
  • Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance and company effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all company compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Achieve sales performance goals and objectives for the assigned territory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in business or a life science.
  • At least one year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of accomplishments in sales, with a focus on meeting established objectives.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with healthcare professionals in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing is preferred.
  • New product launch experience and broad therapeutic area experience are also preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to pass background, motor, and drug screening.
  • Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
Travel and Physical Requirements
  • Regular travel, including air travel and weekend or overnight travel, may be required.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle to complete in-person sales activities throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a workstation or mobile equipment.
  • Ability to perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
