Position Overview

GRF CPAs & Advisors is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Risk & Advisory Services (RAS) team. This team plays a crucial role in helping organizations adopt a comprehensive approach to risk analysis and prioritization, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.

The RAS team encompasses four key areas: Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Fraud Risk Management, and Cybersecurity. Our services include:

  • Development and execution of internal audit plans
  • Implementation and enhancement of ERM frameworks
  • Facilitated risk assessments
  • Investigations and assessments related to fraud, forensic matters, and whistleblower reports
  • Conducting risk reviews
  • Designing and assessing risk mitigation strategies
  • Evaluating governance and conducting strategic planning assessments

As a Senior Analyst, you will deliver exceptional client service throughout our engagements, effectively communicating findings related to the work performed, risks identified, and emerging issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in internal audits, risk reviews, and fraud investigations by planning work, conducting fieldwork, documenting results, and preparing insightful reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to enterprise risk management projects by developing work plans, conducting interviews, designing and analyzing surveys, facilitating training sessions, and presenting findings to management.
  • Oversee the entire engagement lifecycle, including work plan preparation, fieldwork execution, workpaper review, documentation of findings, and report development.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion while meeting quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and senior management, presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Supervise staff, review their work, and provide training as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for skill enhancement and knowledge growth related to engagement planning, reporting, and audit functions.
  • Stay informed about best practices, current developments in accounting and auditing, and relevant legal changes.
  • Assist in identifying business development opportunities for GRF, strategizing market entry, conducting client outreach, and drafting proposals.
  • Engage in business development activities through leadership initiatives such as webinars, writing articles, and attending industry events.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time (must possess a valid passport for international travel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, French, or another language besides English.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CISA, CIA, or CRMA.

  • Capability to develop and implement audit plans and schedules.
