Position Overview

GRF CPAs & Advisors is seeking a dedicated Senior Analyst for our Risk & Advisory Services (RAS) division. This team is instrumental in guiding organizations towards a comprehensive strategy for risk analysis and prioritization, ensuring alignment with their overarching business objectives.

The RAS division encompasses four key areas: Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Fraud Risk Management, and Cybersecurity. Our service offerings include:

  • Development and execution of internal audit plans
  • Implementation and enhancement of ERM practices
  • Facilitated risk assessment processes
  • Investigations and assessments related to fraud, forensic matters, and whistleblower claims
  • Comprehensive risk reviews
  • Design and evaluation of risk mitigation strategies
  • Governance assessments and strategic planning evaluations

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service throughout our engagements. Your responsibilities will include effectively communicating findings related to performed engagements, identified risks, and emerging challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in internal audits, risk evaluations, and fraud investigations by planning work, conducting fieldwork, documenting outcomes, and preparing insightful reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to enterprise risk management projects by developing work plans, conducting interviews, designing and analyzing surveys, facilitating training sessions, and presenting findings to management.
  • Oversee the complete engagement lifecycle, including work plan preparation, fieldwork execution, workpaper review, documentation of insights, and report generation with valuable observations.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills, managing multiple projects concurrently while ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and senior management, presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Supervise junior staff, review their work, and provide necessary training.
  • Identify opportunities for personal and professional growth in engagement planning, reporting, and auditing functions.
  • Stay informed about best practices, current developments in accounting and auditing, and relevant changes in laws and regulations.
  • Assist in identifying business development opportunities for GRF, strategizing market entry, conducting client outreach, and drafting proposals.
  • Engage in GRF's business development initiatives through leadership activities such as webinars, writing articles, and attending relevant events.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the specified duties and responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time, with an active passport for international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, French, or another language besides English.
  • Possession of professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CISA, CIA, or CRMA.

Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of internal auditing standards and procedures.
  • Capability to formulate and implement audit plans and schedules.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experience in re-engineering operations and procedures, policy formulation, and strategy development.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Competence in setting and achieving short- and long-term goals.
  • Skills in employee development and performance management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
