We are looking for a Senior Water Resources Project Leader to become part of our Northeast Area Water Team. The ideal candidate will excel as an essential member of a solution-oriented and cooperative water team.

This role will bolster our expanding water market in New England, particularly focusing on growth in Maine and New Hampshire.

Candidates may choose to work from our offices in Manchester, New Hampshire, or Portland, Maine. Our regional water team comprises over 60 local engineers and scientists, along with a broader national community of practice.

Applicants must possess strong technical knowledge, particularly in municipal water and/or wastewater engineering, and be fully capable of offering technical leadership and guidance to project teams.

Candidates should have excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing abilities.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
A Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline

10+ years of relevant process and design experience

Professional Engineering Registration (mandatory)


The selected individual will operate in our team-oriented environment, primarily delivering professional engineering services for municipal and utility clients concerning water and/or wastewater systems.


The selected individual will have the chance to:
Lead and engage in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and enhancing customer value.


Lead and/or assist projects for water and/or wastewater clients, both new and long-standing, supported by skilled project teams of engineers, scientists, and planners to provide a comprehensive range of water-related engineering services.

Foster and develop client relationships and contracts that encompass complex, multi-disciplinary projects in planning, design, and construction.

Engage in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients.

Mentor the technical growth of staff.

Support multi-disciplinary projects, present at technical conferences, and participate in technical committees.
