We are currently on the lookout for a Lead Water Resources Engineer to become a vital part of our Water and Natural Resources (WNR) team. This role offers the chance to engage in significant water resource initiatives, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Service Group Leaders to provide expert guidance within our Water and Natural Resources Business Unit, focusing on stormwater management and river restoration projects.
- Deliver technical excellence and strategic insight in stormwater systems, river restoration, fish passage engineering, and hydraulic design.
- Develop comprehensive technical proposals, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee water resource planning and design projects, ensuring effective workload management, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Mentor and supervise team members responsible for design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Lead the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant Project Engineering experience in stormwater and river restoration design, with a minimum of 2 years in a project management capacity.
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the applicable state is essential.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and collaborative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
