Overview:

KMA Human Resources Consulting is currently seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for a prominent client in the engineering sector. This role can be performed remotely within the Eastern United States.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an Associate's degree with relevant design experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering, with 7-10 years being highly desirable.
  • Proficient in PLC programming, particularly in PID development and troubleshooting within Allen-Bradley environments.
  • Solid understanding of industrial processes, control integration methodologies, and Motor Control Center design.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including effective time management, project scheduling, and cost monitoring.
  • Proficient in standard Windows applications and AutoCAD.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to various project sites.
  • Monthly travel to the designated office location may be required for non-local candidates.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $150,000.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PLC programming, program integration, panel design, and instrument selection.
