Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute engineering tasks on projects, holding responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
- Negotiate critical and contentious issues with senior engineers and executives from other organizations and firms.
- Possess responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Establish and maintain extensive relationships with key engineers and officials from other organizations and firms, requiring skills in persuasion and negotiation of vital issues.
- Prepare proposals, conduct interviews, and negotiate contracts with clients post-selection.
- Develop and sustain significant relationships with client management personnel.
- Deliver high-quality services within budgetary and scheduling constraints.
- Identify the need for and oversee subconsultants providing services on projects.
- Engage actively in professional associations, including presenting technical papers, serving on technical committees, and holding officer positions in local or national organizations.
- Travel may be required as necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Wastewater Engineering, specifically with wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems.
- 5+ years of experience in project management.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the design and construction phases of small, medium, and large infrastructure projects.
- Effective communication skills with clients and project teams.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
