Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and execute engineering tasks on projects, holding responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Negotiate critical and contentious issues with senior engineers and executives from other organizations and firms.
  • Possess responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Establish and maintain extensive relationships with key engineers and officials from other organizations and firms, requiring skills in persuasion and negotiation of vital issues.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct interviews, and negotiate contracts with clients post-selection.
  • Develop and sustain significant relationships with client management personnel.
  • Deliver high-quality services within budgetary and scheduling constraints.
  • Identify the need for and oversee subconsultants providing services on projects.
  • Engage actively in professional associations, including presenting technical papers, serving on technical committees, and holding officer positions in local or national organizations.
  • Travel may be required as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in Wastewater Engineering, specifically with wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the design and construction phases of small, medium, and large infrastructure projects.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and project teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
