Job Summary

Aon is seeking a seasoned business development professional to join our Reinsurance Team as a Senior Managing Director. This role will focus on producing new business, generating new client opportunities, and assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategy to cultivate revenue generation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with broking teams across solution lines to develop new business and establish relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Identify client and prospect needs and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of Aon resources and solutions and match them to client business requirements.
  • Achieve high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
  • Cultivate and promote a team approach to internal and external business relationships.

Requirements
  • Prior business development/sales experience in the reinsurance industry.
  • Knowledge of insurance company financial statements to determine best entrance into a company to present Aon.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong market presence within the broking industry.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with high level of accountability for profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to drive team(s) to deliver the highest in client service, quality, and results.
