Genesys Works is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in Chicago. This role will be responsible for building and deepening relationships with senior executives at existing and new corporate partners, developing a solid understanding of their talent strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute account plans to secure new business and grow existing partnerships.
- Work closely with our Program Team to learn from their interactions with supervisors and department leads, identifying opportunities for incremental growth in internships.
- Execute market and prospect research on new potential corporate partners relevant to our organization.
- Closing business, including negotiating master services agreements, executing statements of work, and overseeing administrative tasks associated with onboarding new customers.
- Manage key relationships with new corporate partners for the first 12 months of engagement and execute successful hand-offs as needed.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategies for maintaining and/or increasing the number of internships within each corporate partner.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in sales or business development with a strong record of accomplishment in new account development and account growth.
- Experience selling human capital solutions or management services to corporate clients.
- Experience closing on opportunities with a revenue value of $100k+.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within the city and adjacent communities.
- Excellent project management skills and experience with complex programs.
