Position Overview
The role of Cook is essential for supporting the daily food production and kitchen operations in accordance with the company's standards and procedures. This position focuses on delivering high-quality food and beverage service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain on-site presence and possess a valid Food Handler's Card to ensure compliance with all food storage and meal preparation regulations.
  • Prepare dishes according to established recipes and timing protocols.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including storerooms and workstations.
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen tools, equipment, and dishware following company guidelines.
  • Monitor the functionality of dishwashing equipment consistently.
  • Report any equipment issues to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate any safety, guest, personnel, or facility concerns to management promptly.
  • Adhere to meal recipes and menu specifications with precision.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Notify management of inventory needs to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Follow all company procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats as per company standards.
  • Engage positively with colleagues, guests, and management.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This position primarily takes place indoors, particularly in a kitchen setting, with exposure to hot surfaces and sharp tools. Some responsibilities may require outdoor work in various weather conditions.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks.
  • Requires fine motor skills for tasks such as cutting, pouring, and handling various objects.
  • Visual acuity is necessary to read recipes and safety instructions.
  • Hearing acuity is essential for understanding verbal instructions amidst kitchen noise.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage of $23.78 (includes base pay and average tip pool potential).
  • Base pay of $18.78 per hour, with tips averaging $3 - $5 per hour.
