Role Objective
The position of Cook is designed to support the daily culinary production and operational tasks in the kitchen, adhering to the established procedures and standards of the establishment. The goal is to ensure high-quality food preparation and service for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain on-site presence and possess a valid Food Handler's Card to ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
- Prepare meals according to specified recipes and timing protocols.
- Keep all kitchen areas, including storage and workstations, clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Ensure all cooking utensils, dishware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized following company standards.
- Monitor the functionality of the dishwasher and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a safe working environment by promptly reporting any equipment issues.
- Follow meal recipes and menus with precision.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture.
- Communicate inventory needs to management to ensure consistent supply availability.
- Adhere to all company procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures.

- Exhibit professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic kitchen environment.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in accordance with company protocols.

Work Environment
This role primarily takes place indoors, within a kitchen setting that involves exposure to hot surfaces and sharp tools, with occasional outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Capable of standing and walking for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks.
- Requires fine motor skills for tasks such as cutting, pouring, and handling various items.
- Visual acuity is necessary to read recipes and safety instructions.
- Hearing ability is essential to comprehend verbal instructions amidst kitchen noise.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $23.78 (including base pay and average tip pool potential).
- Base pay of $18.78 per hour, with tips averaging $3 - $5 per hour.
