Role Overview
The position of Cook is essential for supporting the daily food production and operational tasks within the kitchen, adhering to the company's established procedures and guidelines. This role is focused on delivering high-quality food and beverage service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain on-site presence and possess a valid Food Handler's Card to ensure compliance with all food storage and meal preparation regulations.
- Prepare dishes according to specified recipes and timing standards.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including storage and workstations, are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Guarantee that all cooking utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards.
- Monitor the functionality of dishwashing equipment at all times.
- Report any equipment issues to maintain a safe working environment.
- Promptly communicate any safety, guest, personnel, or facility concerns to management.
- Consistently follow meal recipes and menu specifications.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Notify management of inventory needs to ensure a consistent supply of necessary items.
- Adhere to all company procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, following the company's communication protocols.
- Engage positively with team members, guests, and management.
- Act as a supportive team player.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.

- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Work Environment
This role primarily takes place indoors, within a kitchen setting that involves exposure to hot surfaces and sharp tools, with some outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Capable of walking and standing for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks.
- Must possess fine motor skills for tasks such as cutting, pouring, and handling various items.
- Visual acuity is necessary to read recipes and safety instructions.
- Hearing acuity is required to understand verbal instructions amidst kitchen noise.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of $23.78 (includes base pay and average tip pool potential).
- Base pay of $18.78 per hour, with tips averaging $3 - $5 per hour.
