Bartender Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, and close the bar area efficiently.
  • Receive drink orders from patrons or servers and craft alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes.
  • Combine ingredients for cocktails and serve wine and beer selections.
  • Take food orders from guests seated at the bar.
  • Process food and drink orders through the POS system, handle payments, and provide change as necessary.
  • Clean glassware and prepare garnishes for drinks.
  • Adhere to strict guidelines to prevent over-serving and ensure compliance with age restrictions.

Job Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior experience in a high-volume bar setting. Familiarity with standard drink recipes is essential.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is necessary. Must be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to four hours. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
