Position Overview
The role of Cook is essential for supporting the daily food production and kitchen operations in alignment with company standards, ensuring high-quality food service and beverage preparation for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Must work on-site and possess a valid Food Handler's Card to ensure compliance with all food storage and meal preparation regulations.
- Prepare dishes according to established recipes and timing protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen stations, storerooms, and work areas.
- Ensure all kitchenware, including dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, are cleaned and sanitized according to company guidelines.
- Monitor the functionality of the dishwasher and report any issues.
- Maintain a safe environment by promptly reporting equipment concerns.
- Adhere to meal recipes and menus with precision.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Communicate inventory needs to management to ensure adequate supplies.
- Follow all company procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures.

Work Environment
This position primarily takes place indoors, particularly in a kitchen setting with exposure to hot surfaces and sharp tools, with some outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks.
- Requires fine motor skills for tasks such as cutting, pouring, and handling objects.
- Visual acuity is necessary to read recipes and safety instructions.
- Hearing acuity is essential for understanding verbal instructions in a busy kitchen environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of $23.78 (including base pay and average tip pool potential).
- Base pay of $18.78 per hour, with tip pool averages ranging from $3 to $5 per hour.
