Compensation: $20/hour, maximum of 40 hours/week

Position Overview:

The Hub Project is seeking candidates for the Finance & Campaign Operations Internship. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to contribute to impactful initiatives. As a Finance & Campaign Operations Intern, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing existing financial and campaign operational frameworks and developing improved workflows for enhanced efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the Financial Operations Specialist to facilitate new contracts and process payments.
  • Assisting the Senior Campaign Operations Associate in addressing the requirements of independent organizations.
  • Reviewing monthly financial reports and data to ensure accurate budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Working with Finance and Operations teams on various projects as required.
  • Managing data entry and oversight of operational systems and spreadsheets.
  • Providing support for a range of administrative and operational tasks.
  • Executing additional finance and operational responsibilities as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance with an interest in progressive causes, or studying Political Science with a desire to learn about finance and accounting.
  • Demonstrated interest in progressive issues and advocacy campaigns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and exhibit self-motivation.
  • Strong multitasking abilities paired with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset.
  • Proactive approach with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with G-Suite and Microsoft Office, along with a willingness to explore new organizational tools and software.
