Position Overview:
The HVAC Maintenance Specialist at Encore Boston Harbor is tasked with the diagnosis and repair of HVAC systems, which encompass heating, air conditioning, water heaters, chillers, boilers, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold all Encore Standards while ensuring a superior experience for both guests and team members.
  • Contribute actively to departmental performance, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness in policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies, as well as federal and state laws, regulations, and controls.
  • Deliver exceptional property-wide service and satisfaction.
  • Engage in company-wide communication and share best practices.
  • Stay updated on new developments within the department.
  • Manage guest relations with patience, tact, and diplomacy, addressing any issues as necessary.
  • Handle multiple priorities effectively, meeting deadlines even in high-pressure situations.
  • Provide service, preventative maintenance, repair, or installation of HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Accurately perform layout for system, fixture, and equipment installations.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Identify, repair, or replace components to maintain equipment and systems.
  • Order necessary equipment and supplies to ensure inventory availability.
  • Conduct testing of systems for compliance with codes, specifications, and service agreements.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations to resolve heating, cooling, or plumbing issues.
  • Prepare documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of tools.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of equipment startups, providing necessary information to end users.
  • Install systems and products in accordance with codes, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Test equipment to ensure it meets established quality standards.
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to departmental and company safety standards.
  • Maintain industry knowledge through ongoing education and training.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
