Position Summary:

The HVAC Technician is tasked with the critical role of diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems, which encompass heating, air conditioning, water heating, chillers, boilers, refrigeration units, and building automation systems.   • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of an HVAC License is required.
  • EPA 608 certification is mandatory.
  • Mass Refrigeration License is preferred.
  • Valid Massachusetts Driver License is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training is necessary.
  • A minimum of 3 years of refrigeration experience is required.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are essential.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with large tonnage chillers and data center chillers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools, testing equipment, and safety guidelines is required.

Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with team members and guests.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 70 pounds and working in various environmental conditions.

Work Environment:

The work environment may vary, with exposure to moderate to loud noise levels and the necessity to work in various weather conditions. Team members must adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
