KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
Carry out essential tasks to maintain our properties in excellent condition.
Respond to service requests promptly, engage with residents, and ensure the property's systems are functioning optimally.
Coordinate the timely completion of service requests from residents and management.
Prepare vacant units to meet occupancy standards within established timelines.
Inspect mechanical systems and grounds; promptly address safety concerns with management.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in collaboration with your supervisor.
Work alongside the Maintenance Supervisor to prepare sites for inspections.
Adhere to workplace safety policies and standards, including current health guidelines.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance tasks.
COMPENSATION:
$24.00 per hour
with an annual performance-based bonus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in affordable housing.
You are available for emergency on-call duties and can lift up to 50 lbs while standing for an 8-hour shift.
You approach each day with determination, welcoming constructive feedback and striving for improvement.
You value teamwork, believing that collaboration leads to better outcomes.
You are reliable and committed to doing the right thing, regardless of the circumstances.
