Job Summary

This position reports to Mgr Systems Engineering. As an Associate Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
  • Exercising judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods and preparing project documentation within your scope of deliverables.
  • Assisting customers on technical issues and interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within your scope of deliverables.
  • Supporting in communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
  • Participating in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Science or other engineering degree.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in design and execution, working as an Engineer with Distributed Control Systems is preferred but not required.
  • Recent and/or upcoming graduates will be considered.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools.
  • Candidates must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Position will be based in Cleveland, OH.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
