I Tech Consulting Partners is an international provider of information management services with facilities in major cities nationwide. Our company seeks a skilled sales professional to sell document storage solutions.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year (dependent on experience and location)

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is to maximize the sales of services in the information management industry to new and existing customers and prospects. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Attaining targeted sales for territory or assigned accounts by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.
  • Leading generation and prospecting activities to maintain required pipeline of prospect accounts.
  • Qualifying, researching, tracking, and developing leads into viable business opportunities.
  • Effectively articulating the value proposition to multiple organizational levels.
  • Developing strong business cases, proposals, and presentations for sales opportunities.
  • Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales.
  • Participating in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build industry and customer awareness of company services and solutions.
  • Maintaining a strong knowledge of the industry, trends, technology, competitive offerings, and customer requirements, and providing informed feedback to the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience in an enterprise or large account sales environment selling document management software. A strong hunter mentality – the ability to prospect and sell into new account opportunities, then upsell within the account – is also essential. Previous experience selling document storage or any highly transactional B2B service is a plus. You should be able to excel in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with constant change and possess strong relationship building skills, with the ability to build and lead cross-functional teams to achieve sales results. Additionally, you must have the ability to grasp and map processes and corresponding document and information flows between departments. A proven record of exceeding quota in previous positions and demonstrated ability to win competitive major account sales are also required. Finally, you should have solid business acumen – a strong understanding of how businesses operate across functional areas – and excellent written and oral communication skills.
