Position Overview:
We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our dynamic team. This executive role is integral to our senior management team, providing strategic vision and leadership in the development and execution of technology initiatives. The CTO will oversee enterprise-wide IT operations and the implementation of information systems that align with our mission and support the various business models within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the formulation of a cohesive technology strategy that spans multiple locations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enhancing organizational agility.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive leadership and external partners, regarding technology initiatives and challenges.
  • Establish and maintain robust policies and procedures for information technology, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and organizational standards.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive information security and data governance plan to safeguard our technology assets.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement a disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
  • Enhance the integration of databases across the organization, ensuring accurate data interpretation and reporting.
  • Drive the vision and strategy of the Project Management Office (PMO) to align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee IT support services, implementing best practices for issue resolution and customer service.
  • Mentor and lead the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Manage IT budgets effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities and making informed investment decisions.
  • Promote digital transformation initiatives across the organization, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of current technology trends and requirements for complex organizations.
  • Experience in strategic planning, budget development, and governance within large organizations.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis techniques related to enterprise solutions.
  • Proven experience in managing remote teams and motivating staff.
  • Ability to attract and retain a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to execution.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise technology.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector or financial institutions is a plus.
