Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Okaloosa County Health Department. This role is responsible for providing clerical support for program management, preparing forms for client signatures, and completing financials for clients.

About the Role

  • Provide administrative support to staff in the Accounts Receivable Branch
  • Prepare forms for client signatures and complete financials for clients
  • Work with medical records to ensure all applicable rules, regulations, and policies regarding security of information are enforced
  • Prioritize work and use time wisely
  • Accurately enter data as indicated to ensure an effective and efficient tracking mechanism

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience working in a professional office environment preferred
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute required
  • Basic knowledge of medical insurance processes required
