Key Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, and direct the preparation and service of all food, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other culinary personnel.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards.
- Manage food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote our food and beverage offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, menu innovations, and culinary techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in hotels, restaurants, or related fields.
- Proven track record of success in food production, kitchen management, and team leadership.
- Strong culinary skills, including menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
