Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as the Summer Intensive Program Supervisor. This role will be responsible for the supervision of evening and overnight Summer Intensive participants, ensuring their safety and well-being during the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the evening and overnight component of the Summer Intensive program
  • Coordinate nightly room checks to ensure participant safety
  • Engage students as needed for corrective behavior in the overnight hours
  • Lead team in developing activities in pre-planning meetings as needed
  • Engage campus authorities with appropriate emergency protocols as needed
  • Establish and maintain effective parent communication as needed
  • Escort students to breakfast every morning
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with young adults in a camp or educational setting
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
  • Previous experience working at the Summer Intensive program
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Able to act in the best interest of young adults in your care
  • Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills
  • Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
