Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary
Dessert Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee and direct all maintenance activities and assigned projects within the facility, ensuring alignment with Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement objectives. This role is based at our facility in Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective maintenance practices on equipment through comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
- Delegate and track PPM work orders, conduct routine inspections, and report any necessary adjustments.
- Ensure accurate reporting of all labor, parts, and work through the CMMS on a daily basis.
- Review and refine planned job packages for accuracy, adjusting labor, materials, and priorities as necessary.
- Guide the maintenance team on approved tasks based on individual skill levels.
- Offer support and expertise in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Assist process improvement teams and uphold safety and cleanliness standards within the department.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, implementing necessary training and monitoring adherence.
- Oversee maintenance budget and control expenses effectively.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.
- Engage in the design and development of future production capabilities by collaborating with various departments.
- Responsible for drafting capital project requests, organizing work for capital initiatives, and executing projects within budget and timelines.
- Maintain Food Safety and Quality Systems as assigned.
- Participate in facility audits and implement corrective actions as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience in maintenance management, repair, or equipment assembly.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair methodologies.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control, planning, problem-solving, and data collection.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance in industrial food manufacturing settings.
- Understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
