Senior Director of Brand Marketing

We are seeking a Senior Director of Brand Marketing who will be instrumental in guiding our organization towards a brand-focused future. The successful candidate will lead the transformation of Peet's brand from a cherished local favorite to a nationally acknowledged leader in the industry.

  • Direct the creation of cohesive brand experiences across multiple platforms
  • Design and implement compelling and integrated brand marketing campaigns in collaboration with our creative agency
  • Shape product assortment, merchandising, pricing, and distribution strategies based on consumer insights
  • Formulate scalable demand generation strategies utilizing our omnichannel approach
  • Launch new product initiatives and incorporate brand marketing into demand forecasting processes
  • Drive innovative brand strategies to boost brand recognition, selection, and growth
  • Encourage a culture of growth and collaboration among team members and channel partners

This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Brand and will oversee teams focused on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing, Retail marketing, and Away from Home marketing. The ideal candidate will be based in a hybrid work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Enhance brand experience across owned digital platforms
  • Develop and execute groundbreaking brand marketing campaigns
  • Optimize profitability and effectiveness in owned marketing channels
  • Implement programs that drive traffic and engagement
  • Generate omnichannel demand through a unified and scalable strategy
  • Execute national campaigns aimed at increasing brand familiarity
  • Foster a culture of growth and teamwork
  • Influence the consumer journey and marketing activation plans
  • Maximize the effectiveness of new product introductions

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in premium brand management
  • Proven experience in digital, retail, and CPG marketing channels
  • Strategic thinker with a profound understanding of channel dynamics
  • Experience in team leadership and fostering collaboration
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and decision-making abilities
