Role Summary:
In the capacity of Project Manager, you will be instrumental in managing intricate projects across various stages, working alongside a dedicated team of Project Coordinators to ensure that objectives are achieved within the designated timeline, scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Project Coordinators to plan, direct, and oversee the entire project closeout process, ensuring adherence to schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Facilitate coordination with diverse stakeholders, including Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers, Architects of Record (AORs), Inspectors of Record (IORs), and representatives from the Division of the State Architect (DSA), to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the project closeout process and deliverables, identifying inter-project dependencies and conducting risk assessments to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Oversee the collection, coordination, processing, and expediting of project certification, ensuring compliance with DSA regulations and applicable building codes.
  • Engage in special or complex certification projects, conducting research and applying current DSA regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Actively participate in the project closeout process, addressing any issues that may hinder project progress and ensuring timely completion.
  • Conduct field surveys to verify construction plans, Construction Change Directives (CCDs), and Addenda, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for delivering complete and certifiable closeout packages, reflecting our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Education: An architectural degree from an accredited institution or equivalent career experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in producing and coordinating documents across all phases of architectural practice, particularly in DSA school projects.
  • Proficiency: Familiarity with Bluebeam and DSA Box for document management and collaboration.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, cloud-based systems, Gmail, and PowerPoint, with a quick adaptability to new software applications.
  • Minimal Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally as required for the role.
  • Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented and efficient in problem-solving, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Attributes: A positive, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual with a passion for excellence.
  • Construction Knowledge: Understanding of building construction, codes, and regulations.
  • Background: Experience in business, construction, or project management preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Project Schedules: Basic knowledge of project scheduling; intermediate or advanced skills are advantageous.

Salary Range: $64,000 - $85,000
